Students of ASU Faculty of Philology & Journalism Will Take Part in Media Training

On November 22-23, a free educational course «Information Space of the Caspian Sea region» will be held in Astrakhan for young experts of media industry.

The event is organized by the Centre of International and Sociopolitical Research «Caspian-Eurasia» (Astrakhan), the centre for political studies «North-South» (Moscow) and the centre «Eurasian Monitoring» (Astana, Kazakhstan). It will involve young authors of regional media and students of specific majors.

Participants will discuss new vectors of cooperation between Russian and Kazakh media, learn more about the media space of the Caspian states, assess the Russian information space of Central Asia and learn about specificity of journalistic practice under international media cooperation conditions.

Apart from training courses, the project, supported by the Russian Federation President Grant for Civil Society Development, will include organization of a round table discussion «Modern Tendencies of Media Development in Grand Eurasia» to be held in Astrakhan.
