ASU Faculty of Pedagogics & Social Work Will Train Managers for Educational Sphere

The Department of Pedagogics and Continuing Professional Education of Astrakhan State University has launched a new Master’s degree programme «Management in Education» (training programme «Pedagogical Education»).

The programme aims at forming and extending competences in the sphere of theory and practice of educational institutions management under the conditions of systemic changes in training leaders of educational organizations, specialists and teachers. It is meant for providing the educational cluster of the Astrakhan region and the Northern Caspian Sea region with competitive experts in the sphere of pedagogical education who are ready for research, pedagogical and managerial activities in educational institutions of different level and who have professional competences and qualities necessary for efficient introduction of innovative processes in the sphere of education and management.

Upon their completion of the Master’s degree programme «Management in Education», graduates will be able to take leading positions in different educational institutions, as well as positions that require managerial competences in other spheres of social practice.
