ASU Researchers Study Religious Dialogue in Virtual Space

A scientific team of eight researchers, representing Astrakhan State University, has won a grant of the Russian Science Foundation in 2018.

The Russian Science Foundation (RSF) is the largest organization which provides financial and organizational support of fundamental research and scientific communities taking leading positions in specific fields of study. This year, Astrakhan State University for the first time has won a RSF grant with the project «Transformation of Mechanisms of Forming Post-Transgression Model of Religious Identity in Modern Information Space».

In their grant project, the ASU researchers focus on the issue of religious dialogue in the virtual space. Results of the three-stage project will be reflected in research papers to be published in Russian and foreign scientific journals of the major indexing databases (Russian Science Citation Index, Web of Science and Scopus). Upon completion of the project implementation, the team will publish a multi-authored monograph, dedicated to the model of post-transgression religious identity in the modern information space.
