ASU Teacher is Honoured with Gratitude of the Embassy of France in Russia
Alfiya Salkhenova, an Associate Professor of the ASU Department of Romanic Philology, delivered a brilliant speech at the meeting of French teachers at MGIMO.
In her letter to Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, Claudine Mocnik, the Attaché on Francophone Cooperation of the Department of Cooperation and Culture of the Embassy of France in the Russian Federation, marks high quality of Mrs. Salkhenova’s speech at a round table discussion, dedicated to selection of task-specific materials for basic teaching of French to students of scientific majors.
According to the foreign colleagues, the ASU teacher’s openness to dialogue and exchange of ideas definitely allowed the participants to reflect upon the chosen topic efficiently. Moreover, the letter says that “Mrs. Salkhenova’s speech facilitates in-depth analysis of methods for teaching French in high school, as well as formation of a modern approach to teaching French in Russia”.
