Astrakhan State University Researchers Analyze the Student Campus Project

A monograph “University Campus as the Basis for Educational Space Organization: Creation and Development” has been published by Galina Fayzieva and Evgeny Shevelev, ASU researchers.

The book sums up the foreign and Russian experience in creation and development of university campuses as the best model for the university management and a progressive form of its introduction to the urban environment, describes peculiarities of campuses functioning in Russia and examines the fundamentals of organization of educational landscape and architecture of student campuses. The monograph also includes indicators and criteria of student campus management efficiency.

The study included a comparative analysis of project activities of university campuses, implicating its creation, establishment and management. Special attention is paid to the methods and forms of organization of student campus project management.

The monograph is a result of the research, carried out by the authors during their taking of the Master’s programme “Economics”, for which reason the findings are based on the analysis of the management of the ASU campus development project.
