An ASU Teacher Strengthens the University Ties with Poland

In November, Aleksandr Grigoriev, an Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology, participated in a meeting of alumni of the Polish government scholarship programme for young scientists, held in Warsaw.

The event programme included the international scientific conference “Centenary of Independence: Experience and Prospects”, where the ASU representative addressed the audience with a speech on political culture of the Russian youth.

Besides, Aleksandr Grigoriev paid a number of visits to Polish universities. He discussed prospects of joint academic activities, student mobility and social research with his colleagues from the University of Lodz and University of Gdańsk.

It should be recalled that in 2018 the ASU Faculty of Social Communications has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Lodz, and the Astrakhan representative’s visit is the first step in strengthening scientific and educational ties between the universities.
