Astrakhan State University Educates Pre-School Teachers
Tatyana Dymova and Elena Loktionova, teachers of the Ecology, Nature & Land Management, & Safe Vital Activities of the ASU Faculty of Geology & Geography, are holding a practice-oriented seminar “Organization of Cognitive, Research and Project Activities in Pre-School Education System”.
The urgency of this training is connected with the requirements of the federal state educational standard for pre-school education, oriented to children’s cognitive development: formation of cognitive actions and basic ideas about objects of the world around, their properties and interrelations.
Nowadays, the organization of such activities by pre-school teachers and involvement of children is a necessary condition for improving the quality of educational work of a pre-school educational institution.
At the practice-oriented seminar, the participants receive necessary information on the structure, peculiarities, methods and rules of performing cognitive, research and project activities by children, presentation of results and oral reports.
A special part in the educational process is given to discussion of practical experience of pre-school teachers of Astrakhan and Astrakhan region in the implementation of cognitive, research and project activities of children in compliance with the state standard requirements.
