ASU Gives PE Teachers Insight into Sports Management

Astrakhan State University has launched courses on pedagogical advanced training for its teachers.

The course is organized by the Unit of Corporate Training of the ASU Department of Continuing Education and the Faculty of Physical Training & Sports. The project on advanced training of the university teaching staff implies implementation of the programme “Professional Competences of PE & Sports Teachers under Conditions of Changes in Higher Education”.

The main tutor of the programme is Aleksandr Dorontsev, as associate professor and the Head of the ASU Department of Physical Training.

The course attendees will study urgent issues of sports management, areas of organizational and methodological work in physical training and sports under modern conditions. Besides, they will discuss regulatory, information and communication aspects of teaching activities.

Upon the course completion, the participants will receive certificates on advanced training (basic level).
