ASU Unites Specialists in the Sphere of Geo-Ecology

Astrakhan State University held an international research & practice conference «Modern Research in Earth Sciences: Retrospective, Latest Trends and Introduction Prospects».

The event was attended by representatives of pedagogical communities, methodological and trade-union organizations, as well as experts in geography, ecology and environmental protection from the Altai State University, Tyumen State University of Culture, Russian State

Hydrometeorological University (St. Petersburg), Kuban State University (Krasnodar), Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, Kursk State University, Voronezh State Institute of Physical Culture and other scientific institutions. ASU researchers and students also addressed the audience and presented their reports.

The conference participants discussed high-priority issues, connected with environmental problems of the region, natural and anthropogenic hazards, hydrogeology and geological engineering, specially protected natural areas of different levels, development of education in the sphere of geography, ecology and life safety, as well as geo-ecological monitoring of natural and anthropogenic environment quality.
