ASU Agrarians-To-Be Are Invited to Work

Astrakhan State University hosted a regional career fair for graduates of agricultural majors.

The event, organized by the ASU Centre of Career Planning, was attended by representatives of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Veterinary Service and the Employment Agency of Astrakhan region, as well as heads of government agencies and local self-government bodies and potential employers.

The fair participants were welcomed by Ravil Arykbaev, the Dean of the ASU Faculty of Agribusiness, Technologies & Veterinary Medicine, and Andrey Timofeev, the First Deputy Director of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

The event mainly aimed at employing young specialists who have got a degree in agriculture. The career fair was attended by students and graduates of the ASU College, Kamyzyak Agricultural College and Astrakhan Agrotechnical Training College. Vacancies were proposed by several organizations which operate in the regional agricultural sector, including large farm enterprises of the region and district veterinary stations, the public stock breeding institution “Astrakhanskoe”, SKB Bank, Mobile TeleSystems and a lot more.

Within the framework of the fair, future graduates were given a unique opportunity to interview with representatives of employing companies that participated in the event.
