ASU Discusses Issues of Modern Education Development

On February 27, the Department of Pedagogics & Continuing Professional Education of Astrakhan State University held the international research & practice conference "Content and Procedural Aspects of Modern Education".

The organizing committee of the scientific event consisted of Aleksandr Treshchev, the ASU Vice Rector for Academic Activities, Irina Romanovskaya, the Head of the Department of Pedagogics & Continuing Professional Education, and Elena Tarabanovskaya, an associate professor of the department.

The conference aimed at summarizing the theory and practice of urgent issues of modern education development.

Welcoming the audience, Elena Tarabanovskaya, who moderated the event, wished fruitful work to the conference participants. She stressed that the conference would allow them to open broad research horizons.

The reports and discussion were dedicated to professional activities of the teacher, content, organization and assessment of educational process results, problems and prospects of education development and the history of education. The conference "Content and Procedural Aspects of Modern Education" was attended by representatives of Russia, Belarus, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. It allows to form a platform for developing cooperation with foreign researchers. Besides, the event allowed to identify future scientists among participating students.
