ASU Is Ready to Join the Federal Project on Creating Inclusive Society
Astrakhan State University welcomed Elena Ulianova, the President of the charity foundation “Equal Opportunities”, who suggested that our university presents their projects and joins the same-name federal programme.
After the tour around the university, ASU Acting Rector Konstantin Markelov introduced the distinguished guest to the audience. Elena Ulianova has long-standing relationships with our region: she was one of the founders of Astrakhan-24 TV channel which has recently celebrated its 5th anniversary. The guest also headed the famous Rybakov Foundation which has actually initiated the present programme of global inclusion.
The project “Equal Opportunities” has already been launched in a number of Russian regions, and Astrakhan region also has a chance to join the ranks. The main mission of this initiative is to form an inclusive society for everyone.
The charity foundation serves a kind of mediator and headhunter among initiators of different levels. The foundation helps establish contacts and “pack up” a project, promotes it among potential partners and investors and coordinates its implementation.
At the general meeting at Astrakhan State University, some ASU experts have already proposed a number of interesting initiatives in the fields of Humanities and engineering. The nearest plans are to implement the initial ideas in practice, as well as to sign a partnership agreement.
