ASU Scientists Will Raise Agribusiness Efficiency

Astrakhan State University has held a scientific seminar in agribusiness within the framework of interdisciplinary studies.

It united three research subdivisions of the university — the Research Laboratory of Big Data & Digital Technologies of the Institute of Physics & Mathematics, the Educational Centre “Applied Geometry” of the Faculty of Mathematics & Information Technologies and the Scientific & Educational Unit of the Educational Experimental Facility “Nachalo”.

The general topic of the seminar was synthesis of agriculture and digital technologies, which can raise agribusiness efficiency with regard to an environmental factor. The participants considered some issues of applying mathematical modeling and computer-aided learning in agri-sphere.

The seminar outlined areas of joint research which will result in publication of a joint article in a Scopus-indexed journal. Besides, this scientific groundwork will become a starting point for preparing an application for a grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
