ASU Teachers Will Conduct Virtual Classes for an Iranian University
A delegation of Astrakhan State University visited the Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a seminar within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, jointly implemented by ASU and leading universities of Russia, Europe and Iran.
Astrakhan State University was represented by Ravil Arykbaev, the Dean of the Faculty of Agribusiness, Technologies & Veterinary Medicine, and Aleksey Rybakov, the Director of the Institute of Physics & Mathematics.
The topic of the seminar was preparation for the virtual summer school «Sustainable Agriculture», which will be held on July 1-14, 2019.
The seminar programme included the universities’ presentations of summer school courses in the subjects they’ve chosen. ASU teachers will deliver a virtual course «Digital Agriculture». Students of the universities that are members of the consortium will get a unique opportunity to attend free courses and receive an international certificate.
The meeting participants commended the progress made by the Iranian colleagues in the field of artificial vision in agriculture, visited units of the universities of Sari and Bobol and got acquainted with the laboratory infrastructure and research areas. The guests were also shown KhazarElectric and Badeleh companies, Mazandaran, which produce agricultural equipment.
