Russian Scientists Discuss Environmental Issues at ASU

The Faculty of Geology & Geography of Astrakhan State University held the 10th international scientific conference "Environmental Problems of Natural and Urban Territories".
The conference aimed at scientific information exchange, relevant discussion of urgent problems of natural and urban territories, involvement of BA, MA and Ph.D. students and everyone interested into addressing urgent tasks on modern science and society for raising the level of scientific and research activities.
The conference was attended by scientists of M. K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (Yakutsk), Kaliningrad State Technical University, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov (Nalchik) and other Russian universities.
The programme of the scientific conference included a round-table discussion, organized by Tatiana Dymova, an Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, Nature & Land Management & Safe Vital Activities, which brought together teachers of Astrakhan region. The participants discussed some issues of education and training of the younger generation in the sphere of ecology and life safety.
