An ASU Graduate Is Getting Ready to Work in a Major International Organization

Adelya Bogdalova, a 2018 graduate of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation, has been offered the ICS Framework agreement with WIPO for a period of 5 years upon completion of the PÑT Fellowship Program of the World Intellectual Property Organization for Graduate Students.

During this 5-year period, Adelya will keep carrying out the same tasks she completed while undertaking the fellowship program: to work with WIPO Termbase and create entries of Russian equivalents in the areas of audio, audiovisual, image & video tech and electrical engineering & electronics. Adelya’s first degree is technical, while the diploma of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation helped her extend the boundaries of her technical knowledge and helped her enter the international stage.

The main task of our graduate as a WIPO employee is to enrich the PCT Termbase and, subsequently, WIPO Pearl with Russian equivalents of high quality. It is important and necessary because all the international scientific community, inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs in the field of high technologies, public institutions and universities use terms from these sources.
