ASU on ISLAND 10-22: Two Projects of Astrakhan State University Students Are in University 20.35 DemoBook

Following the results of the University 20.35 project & education workshops, held this spring, a catalogue of the student projects has been published within the framework of the workshop “Island 10-22”. The ASU students’ developments were included in this catalogue as ones of the most promising and unique.

The first project dwells on the electromagnetic system of rail car brake on the classification yard. The development is aimed at reducing railroad bed and wheelset wear.

The catalogue also contains the project "Subsurface Generator", aimed at producing electricity to power low voltage systems with the use of electric generators.

It should be noted that the DemoBook, presented on the Island, unites the projects of 115 participants from 11 universities of Russia. These very HEIs, including Astrakhan State University, are considered by the catalogue authors as examples of high efficiency of project activities for educational and industrial partners.
