ASU Master’s Degree Student Wins the Regional Competition “Projects of the Future”

August 16 saw the ceremony of awarding the participants of the scientific and technical project competition of the Ministry of Industry, Transport & Natural Resources of Astrakhan region. The first place was taken by Dmitry Reztsov, a 2nd-year student of the programme “Industrial Electronics and Microprocessor Technology” of Astrakhan State University.

The project “Ecomonitoring with the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle and spectral camera” was recognized the best by the experts. Iliya Volynsky, the Deputy Head of the regional Ministry of Industry, awarded the winner with a certificate and invited him to present the project at the nearest meeting of

the Engineering Scientific & Industrial Council under the Astrakhan Governor.

It should be noted that the competition “Projects of the Future” involved representatives of Astrakhan State Technical University and Astrakhan State University of Architecture & Construction, who ranked second and third.
