Astrakhan State University Welcomes Konstantin Malofeev

A Russian outstanding public figure told the audience about his projects and answered numerous questions.

Konstantin Malofeev is a Russian manager and entrepreneur, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tsargrad Group, the Deputy Head of the World Russian People's Council, the founder of the Tsargrad TV Channel, the Chair of the Russian Historical Education Society “Double-Headed Eagle”.

The meeting with the guest, organized at Astrakhan State University, was attended by teachers and students of humanitarian faculties, as well as representatives of social organizations of our region that deal with Orthodox, patriotic and Cossack issues.

Konstantin Malafeev told the audience about the specificity and main areas of activities of the organizations, headed by him, about his own professional path and the implemented projects like the Centre for Protection of Russian and Orthodox Population’s Rights and the preparation for “Russian Strategy — 2050”.

Then the guest answered different questions on the prospects of erecting a monument of Ivan the Terrible in Astrakhan, the need for teaching the fundamentals of the Orthodox culture at school and the growth of patriotic sentiments among the youth.
