Representatives of Astrakhan State University Participate in 21st Mendeleev Congress
The participating scientists met on September 9-13, 2019 in St. Petersburg. The congress is one of the main events of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements which this year is celebrating its 150th anniversary.
The 21st Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry involved, among other participants, teachers of the Chemical Faculty of Astrakhan State University. Associate Professor Elvira Matveeva presented her report “Modern Methodological Approaches to Study D.I. Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Chemical Elements within School Chemistry Course”, Lyudmila Dzhigola told her colleagues about a study on the regularities of calcium ion adsorption with mineral sorbents, while Ekaterina Shustova and Ayshat Zukhayraeva presented their study “Synthesis of New Functionally Substituted Heterocycles with Carbamate Function”.
