The Most Active Students of Engineering School Will Hone Their Skills at ASU

Last week, the schoolchildren visited Astrakhan State University and were shown the scientific and educational facilities and infrastructure of the university.

The children visited the Laboratory of Assembling & Testing of Full-Scale Models & Prototypes, Center of Viable Technologies in Electronics & Robotics and Innovative Technological Center to Create Multimedia Content. They also had a look at the university sports complex (its outdoor sports grounds and the swimming pool are one of the best in the city!) and the cafeteria.

This excursion is one of the first steps in the cooperation between ASU and the Engineering School. The most enthusiastic and creative children will form an engineering group, which will allow to involve them into the project activities of the university and its partners through participation in real technical projects.

With the development of partner relations between the Engineering School and ASU, the children will be able to directly participate in engineering, technical, social and other projects, enhance their personal and professional competencies, take part in competitions (of National Technological Initiative or “Trajectory of the Future”) and other events, organized by the Caspian Higher Engineering School.
