ASU Students Take Part in Interregional Forum of Activists
October 14 has seen the opening of the 3-day event for foreign students that study at educational institutions of the Southern Federal District. Representatives of Astrakhan State University also will make their input into the forum.
The forum is organized within the framework of the project “Peoples’ Friendship Club” which won the all-Russian competition of youth projects among educational institutions of higher education.
The first day saw arrival and registration of the participants at Astrakhanskie Zori health centre (Privolzkskiy district of Astrakhan region), as well as an ethnocultural exhibition and official opening ceremony of the interregional forum.
The programme of the next two days is quite eventful and includes various discussions, networking meetings, workshops, a meeting of the professional club “Laboratory of Student Initiatives”, where the students will be able to discuss problematic issues that arise during implementation of the migration law of Russia and to exchange efficient practices and technologies of work with foreign students. Besides, the forum participants will be invited to an international concert, an exhibition of national cuisines, an interactive teambuilding quest, excursions and an eventful cultural programme.
On October 16, they will be shown the new academic building of Astrakhan State University, and then there’ll be a meeting of the professional club “Laboratory of Student Initiatives”, presentation and defense of the student projects that are aimed at development of international youth cooperation between foreign students in the Southern Federal District.
