Astrakhan State University Holds a Discussion on Training Experts in Chemistry

Within the framework of the International Year of Mendeleev's Periodic Table, the ASU Chemical Faculty held the 10th all-Russia scientific and practical conference with international participation “Current Issues of Science, Production and Chemical Education” on November 14.
One of the event objectives was to develop international scientific activities and to broaden cooperation of the university with Russian and foreign partners in the field of the chemical science, production and methods for its teaching.
The conference also covered some issues of multi-level natural science training of experts on the basis of the Federal State Education Standards for basic general education and higher education.
The event involved scientists from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, as well as students and Ph.D. candidates of ASU.
The conference participants commended a high level of the reports and their great practical importance.
The conference will result in publication of its proceedings.
