Professor of Astrakhan State University Wins Grant of Russian Foundation for Basic Research

The Foundation has summed up the results of the competition of the best projects on multidisciplinary fundamental scientific research on the topic “Fundamental Scientific Support of Higher Education Digitalization Processes”. An ASU representative is among the winners.

220 applications were submitted for this topic of the competition of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. Lyudmila Baeva, the Dean of the ASU Faculty of Social Communications, won the grant for the project “Assessment of Educational and Social Space Digitalization Impact on Humans and Development of a System of Safe Communication & Educational Environment”. The grant amounts to 2 million RUB for 2019-2020, and the project implementation will last 3 years.

The competition is aimed to support the research, conducted by scientists on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach and meant for obtaining fundamental scientific results in topic-specific areas, formed by the Foundation for implementation of the Strategy for Science & Technology Development of the Russian Federation.
