ASU Students Keep Mastering Financial Literacy

In October, Astrakhan State University launched advanced training courses for students of pedagogical majors in the programme “Financial Literacy and Teaching Methods”, organized by the centre “Teacher of the Future” of the ASU Faculty of Pedagogics & Social Work.

The programme attendees meet trainers and experts in the sphere of finances, get to now new financial terms, learn to draw up a budget and design lessons for different school grades.

As part of the study programme, Aleksandr Koshkarov, a teacher of the ASU Department of Information Technologies, held a financial game, consisting of several rounds. The game helped the participants put the obtained theoretical knowledge into practice, learn to think outside of the box and analyze financial situations.

Now the course is still under way, and its final stage will see students’ presentation and defence of their projects.
