ASU Representatives Take Part in Forum “Caucasus in Orbit of International Relations”
On November 11-14, Lyubov Kholova and Dmitry Chernichkin, researchers of the Laboratory for Research of Social, Political and Cultural Dynamics of Lower Volga & Caspian Sea Region of Astrakhan State University, took part in the youth scientific forum, held in Rostov-on-Don within the framework of the federal youth project “Peace Be with Caucasus” at the Southern Federal University.
Lyubov Kholova’s report “Digital Ethics of Mass Media in Post-Truth Era on Example of Caucasus Information Portals» with the intermediate results of the project “Transformation of ‘The Other’ Image in Culture of Caspian Macroregion Post-Soviet Space”, supported by the grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, had sparkled interested both in the scientific and student community and among Rostov-on-Don mass media even before the official presentation of the scientific reports.
At the forum, the ASU researcher Dmitry Chernichkin presented his report “Modern State of Youth Religious Identity: Comparative Analysis”, where he reported on the intermediate results of the sociological research, conducted under financial support of the Russian Science Foundation grant for the project “Transformation of Mechanisms of Forming Post-Transgression Model of Religious Identity in Modern Information Space”.
The Southern Federal University commended the cooperation with Astrakhan State University and forwarded the letter of gratitude to ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov from SFedU Acting Rector Inna Shevchenko.
