ASU Student Represents University at Forum “Russian Student 2019”

In late November, the Moscow international complex “Molodezhny” held the all-Russian multicultural student forum, bringing together 250 students from more than 50 subjects of Russia, including Sofia Mironova, a 4th-year student of the Historical Faculty of Astrakhan State University.

As the student says, the forum programme was rather productive and eventful. For example, the participants discussed current issues and challenges of multicultural relations — stereotypes, national ideas, problems of relationships and possible solutions.

“We learnt about formation of the civil society and civil nation in Russia, about personal growth, proper administration of commercial accounts in social media. We also attended several lectures on youth’s self-fulfillment in the 21st century and key factors of success and took part in an interactive class, where we considered the issue of forming civic identity in the studentship”, — said Sofia Mironova.
