Konstantin Markelov congratulates ASU on Orthodox Christmas
Dear friends! I congratulate you on one of the most glorious, kind and favourite Orthodox holidays — Christmas!
Christmas holidays call everyone for letting all misunderstanding and grudge go and getting free of hardships and regrets of the past. It is a time to comprehend your life, put this fast pace on hold and think about loftier things that are not connected with daily routine.
Christmas is a time of good deeds and thoughts. We are touched, looking at the face of the Child Jesus, but we always remember that it was He who gave the salvation to all humankind and brought the supreme form of love to the world. Darkness cleared away before Him, earthly kings trembled before Him, and we’ll answer for all our deeds before Him.
May these holidays unite your families and give a chance to spend time in cordial harmony and love. I wish you peace, joy and happiness! Let Christmas bring well-being and grace to your homes, let the light of the star of Bethlehem bring hope even in the darkest days!
