ASU Fresher Prefers Korean to All Foreign Languages
Lyudmila Latyshova, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Business & Economy, has been attending a course in the Centre of Korean Language & Culture “King Sejong Institute” for a year.
“I’ve always wanted to learn foreign languages. I’ve considered at least ten and finally opted for Korean. I started learning it for myself but I’d like to use it in my future work too,” says Lyudmila.
The Centre of Korean Language & Culture “King Sejong Institute” of Astrakhan State University was founded in 2017 within the framework of cooperation with Dongseo University, South Korea. The foreign partners not only provide with materials for training but also ensure visits of a native speaker to teach the language. Besides, the Korean university participates in assessment at the promotion examinations.
Upon completion of the course, attendees receive a certificate.
