Astrakhan Schoolchildren Learn Modern Technologies at ASU
Classes for students of school No.32 are held in the House of Scientific Collaboration named after V.K. Trediakovsky under terms of a concluded network contract. The project “Technology Lesson” includes three 72-hour educational programmes — “Robotic Engineering”, “Industrial Design” and “Aerodynamics”.
At the lessons, children learn to make robots, work with 3D printing and operate unmanned aerial vehicles. Classes are delivered by staff members, engineers, Master’s degree students and Ph.D. candidates of ASU. During the breaks, children play chess, set up radio circuits and learn about electronic compositions.
It should be recalled that the House of Scientific Collaboration named after V.K. Trediakovsky was established at Astrakhan State University at the end of 2019. It is a centre for development of modern competence in children, created within the framework of the network federal project “Success of Every Child” of the national project “Education”. Astrakhan region became one of 15 pilot regions that run such educational platforms.
