Azerbaijan State University of Economics Is Now Official Partner of ASU

The visit of the delegation of Astrakhan State University to Baku is under way. Today, Konstantin Markelov and Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) Adalat Muradov have signed an agreement on cooperation between the universities.

The signing ceremony also featured members of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Ali Abbasov and Ziyad Samedzade. The main objectives of the agreement are active cooperation in science and education, organization of professors’ visits for delivering classes, as well as implementation of exchange programmes for students and teaching staff. Besides, Adalat Muradov expressed his interest in participation of his university in activities of the Caspian SEC and support of all scientific initiatives within this project.

Another event that was very important for establishment of contacts with Azerbaijan colleagues was a business meeting of Konstantin Markelov with Director of the Russian Economic School in Baku Mansur Barkhudarov. The colleagues discussed prospects of a launch of a double degree programme and got to know the specificity of delivering e-classes.
