ASU Students and Teachers Receive Well-Deserved Awards

On February 28, at the 2nd meeting of the Academic Council of 2020, Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov acknowledged some colleagues and students of the university who had succeeded in professional and social activities.

Certificates of merit from the Astrakhan Regional Duma were handed to Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology Irina Bocharnikova and Professor of the Department of Modern Russian Language Tatiana Vostrikova. Director of the ASU Department of Continuing Education Galina Fayzieva was acknowledged with a letter of gratitude from the regional legislative authority.

Lyudmila Baeva, Aleksandr Grigoriev and Irina Bocharnikova, representatives of the Faculty of Social Communications, were awarded with memorable signs of the winners of the Jean Monnet Module project.

Dmitry Yarmanov, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Philology & Journalism, was handed a certificate for successful participation in the education and outreach expedition “Ambassador of Russian Language”.

Konstantin Markelov also was acknowledged with a letter of gratitude from the Public Observers Corps of the Russian Union of Youth for his active civic stand in insurance of the public observation over the final examination in 2019.

Renat Akhunzhanov was awarded with a diploma of venue coordinator of the 6th all-Russia education & entertainment math flashmob “MathCat 2019”, while Inna Baygusheva and some students of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering of Astrakhan State University received certificates for active participation in organization of the event.
