ASU Future Lawyers and Journalists Gain Additional Competencies in Professional Sphere
Astrakhan State University has launched an additional professional programme on advanced training “Organizing Work with Distressed Assets and Troubled Debts”, developed upon initiative of the Law Faculty together with Sberbank experts.
The course involves Bachelor and Master’s degree students of the ASU Law Faculty and Faculty of Economy & Management. The programme, developed under supervision of Prof. Elena Savelieva, the Dean of the Law Faculty, together with Sberbank experts, is aimed at gaining skills of organization of personal financial and legal security. The course programme includes introduction to the regulatory framework for debt collection, consideration of issues, connected with development of personal and team efficiency, regulation of troubled corporate debts, and the main strategies to regulate distressed assets and debts under personal loans. It’ll allow future economists and lawyers to gain important and relevant competencies, necessary for their future professional activities.
The programme meets the idea of active involvement of potential employers into development of additional educational programmes for university students within the system of continuing education. It facilitates acquisition of personal, interpersonal and professional competences, necessary for successful fulfilment of university graduates in the professional sphere, for their competitiveness at the labour market and correspondence of soft skills of specialists-to-be to the chosen vector of professional growth.
