Konstantin Markelov Awards ASU Intellectual Club Members

Astrakhan State University has summed up the results of the university championship of the sporting league of “What? Where? When?” in 2019/2020. The winners and participants were handed long-awaited certificates and medals. The tournament organizers also were acknowledged with letters of appreciation.

Congratulating the student club on the successful season, ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov confessed that What? Where? When? is one of his favorite TV shows.

As representatives of the ASU intellectual movement say, the student intellectual club was originated by young people that had been keen on such games since school days and wanted to show the new entertaining activity, useful for broadening of outlook and knowledge acquisition, to other students.

It should be noted that this academic year ASU was the only HEI of the city that held intramural competitions in What? Where? When?

The club members also added that they’re always happy to help new teams with holding training sessions and are ready to organize in-faculty competitions and intellectual games.

The club representatives thanked the ASU top-management and the United Council of Students for continuous support and wished the season winners luck at the final of the University League in Moscow.
