Staff Member of Astrakhan State University Is Acknowledged by Regional Duma

On February 27, at the meeting of the Academic Council of the university, Director of the Department of Continuing Education Galina Fayzieva was presented with a letter of gratitude from the Astrakhan Regional Duma.

In 2019, the legislative public authority of the region turned 25, and the work of its commissions is an important component of its functioning. For most of them, it’s impossible to carry out unbiased activities without involvement of an independent expert community. Galina Fayzieva has been an independent expert of three commissions of the regional parliament for several years.

The professor’s long experience is useful and is actively applied in the work of the attestation commission for the assessment and qualification examination of public civil servants of Astrakhan region that fill the offices of public civil service of the region in the Regional Duma; the tender commission for competitions to fill the vacancies in the public civil service in the Astrakhan Regional Duma and inclusion into the candidate pool; the commission on compliance with the requirements for official conduct of public civil servants of Astrakhan region that fill the offices of public civil service of Astrakhan region in the Regional Duma and settlement of conflict of interests.

Galina Fayzieva was presented with this honourary award for her high professionalism and long-time dedicated work.
