RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education Launches Distance Learning Hotline

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has established a Situation Centre because of the infavourable situation caused by COVID-19 infection.

The hotline number is +7 (495) 198-00-00. By calling on this number, you’ll get all the necessary information about the educational, legal and organizational issues.

They also launched a hotline on a shift to mixed and distance forms of learning in order to provide timely support for participants of the educational process in Russian universities.

According to Order No.397 of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated March 14, 2020, the heads of organizations that are controlled by the ministry and implement educational programmes of higher education and respective additional professional programmes must improve the provision of safe conditions of learning and education of students.

On March 16, 2020, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov held a meeting of the working group on preparation of proposals on organization of the educational process at HEIs under conditions of the prevention of the new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation.
