Alumnus of Astrakhan State University Enters Top-100 Managers of Russia
An on-site stage of the competition “Leaders of Russia 2020” in category “Science” took place on March 15-17 in Moscow. The list of participants included Sergey Balaev, the Head of the administration of the municipal entity “Yaksatovo Village Council” of the Privolzhsky District of Astrakhan region, who completed the ASU Ph.D. programme in law.
March 15 saw the final assessment, resulting in 214 participants from 52 regions of the country entering the semi-final of the competition. At the semi-final stage, the entrants demonstrated their leadership skills and took part in an analytical business game and master classes. Then the winners of the semi-final competed in the final assessment tasks. Sergey Balaev successfully coped with the tasks, became one of the hundred finalists and received a certificate for study and traineeship at one of leading universities of Russia, where the representative of Astrakhan will be able to advance his managerial and scientific competencies.
Sergey Balaev also participated in a discussion on prospects of the development of higher education and science in Russian regions and trends in the respective state policy with Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Andrey Fursenko and Minister of Education and Science of Russia Valery Falkov.
