ASU Teachers Did Advanced Training Course at InfoTeCS Company in Moscow
On March 16-20, staff members of the Faculty of Digital Technology & Cybersecurity Aleksandr Marienkov and Olga Vybornova did s study course in the programme “Administration of ViPNet Information Protection System (Windows&Linux)”. The experts of Astrakhan State University learnt about the specificity of the technology and its components.
InfoTeCS (Information Technology & Communication Systems) is a leading Russian provider in the sphere of techniques and measures of information protection. ViPNet is a flagship development of the company, aimed at deployment of secured virtual private networks (VPN) over global and local networks.
The course included both lectures and practical classes, connected with the setting of ViPNet protection components. Upon completion of the course, the attendees did the final test.
The certificates of ViPNet expert, received after the course, license to provide the services on installation, tech support and maintenance of ViPNet Administrator, Coordinator Linux and VipNet Failover software. They also give a right to teach ASU students of IT majors how to use ViPNet, which will significantly increase the attractiveness of future graduates for employers.
