Second Round of Caspian Interregional Competition for Schoolchildren Starts at ASU

The final round of the traditional intellectual competition will be held online from 5th to 20th of June on GoogleForms platform.

The Caspian interregional competition for schoolchildren in 10 general education subjects is one of the university’s annual traditions. The competition is considered one of the most difficult, but a constant increase in the number of participants indicates that the interest in the event is growing from year to year.

This academic year, the first round of the competition involved about 2,000 schoolchildren from the Republic of Kalmykia, Krasnodar Krai and Astrakhan Region. The preliminary round was held from December 20, 2019 to January 27, 2020 with the use of online technologies. The second (final) round will be also held online from 5th to 20th of June on GoogleForms platform. All the participants that have been qualified for the second round must register (Google accounts are necessary for registration) using the links in the table “Schedule of 2nd Round of Caspian Interregional Competition for Schoolchildren” on the ASU website.

The winners and awardees of the competition will get e-certificates, while their supervising teachers will receive letters of gratitude. Besides, the participants that will enter ASU to study in Bachelor’s degree programmes will get two additional points to the results of their exams, and each winner will get five points.
