ASU Students’ Reports Will Appear in International Proceedings

The 10th International Student Statistics Competition took place from December 2019 to May 2020. 86 HEIs of Russia and Kazakhstan joined the contest, including 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Economy & Management of Astrakhan State University, who took part in the off-site stage of the competition.

The event was organized by Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the Russian Federal State Statistics Service.

The ASU students did well at the qualifying stage. They answered the test questions and solved problems, connected with statistics analysis methods and social, macroeconomic and business statistics. Then the entrants prepared scientific reports upon results of their research. Anastasiya Golyakevich got the highest scores, while Tatiana Kovalenko’s report was recognized the best.

Reports of the students of Astrakhan State University were selected for publication in the proceedings of the International Statistics Competition.
