Rector of Astrakhan State University Is at Home under Lockdown

Today, Konstantin Markelov has posted information about his positive COVID test on his personal FB page. The ASU rector has worked remotely from Thursday, July 9, and he feels good.

According to the ASU rector, his family has made a decision on lockdown and now they are monitored by doctors at home and fulfil all the treatment recommendations.

“I feel good, no fever or any other symptoms of the disease are observed. I keep working remotely, especially since we’ve gained a huge experience in this sphere,” noted Konstantin Markelov.

According to the legislation, the rector of Astrakhan State University took comprehensive measures on prevention of the infection spread at university, and a small group of the staff members Konstantin Markelov has recently communicated with were put under lockdown by the order with respective monitoring and prevention medical and sanitary measures being taken in relation to them.

Astrakhan State University keeps working under normal conditions.
