ASU Professor Delivered a Series of Classes on Information Support of Research

A series of webinars by outstanding scientist Yuri Tarasevich, held in the Boiling Point Centre, is over. The expert dedicated his lectures to scientometrics and scientific information resources.

At the first webinar, Yuri Tarasevich dwelled on scientometrics, a scientific discipline that studies evolution of science through numerous measurements and statistical processing of scientific information, as well as the ways to achieve high scientometrical indices.

At the next lectures, the professor told the participants about key electronic platforms that aggregate scientific papers and explained how to prepare a world-level publication, why it is worth publishing in international journals and what journals one should choose for publication.
