Students and Professors of ASU Faculty of Foreign Languages Decently Present Our University on International Level
Papers of professors and students of the Department of Romanic Philology were assessed by the jury of the 4th international competition of students and professors of professional educational institutions “Professional Stars — 2020/2021” (first session of the season) which took place this September and October.
This year, the competition has involved 429 higher and vocational educational institutions from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Donetsk People's Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Head of the Department of Romanic Philology Elena Kuznetsova was awarded two first-place certificates for monograph “Ethno-pedagogic Preparation of Future Teachers for Work in Multiethnic Region” and study guide “Travelling across Astrakhan Region” in French.
Associate Professor Marina Sveshnikova was also awarded a first-place certificate for book “Poems and Songs of Russian Poets for Children, Translated into French”.
Galina Shatokhina, a senior teacher of the department, ranked third for her study guide “A Travel to Astrakhan” in Spanish.
The event will result in publication of competition papers, including their placement on the State Repository of Electronic Editions, Google Books, LitRes library, depositories of electronic editions and in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
