Astrakhan Schoolchildren of Senior Grades Learn about ASU Study Programmes

The autumn welcome days at Astrakhan State University are under way. Representatives of the university tell the prospective students about the current majors, offered for admission, and the specificity of admission to higher educational institutions in 2021.

The university guests got first-hand information about the university and educational programmes it offers. Deans and heads of the departments spoke about advantages of the university, majors offered by the faculties and the teaching HR, including their honoured professors.

As ASU representatives say, the educational process focuses a lot on learning foreign languages and student academic mobility. It allows students to undertake traineeships, including abroad, during their studies and get a good job upon their graduation from university.

Besides, the schoolchildren learnt about extracurricular activities at university, creative and scientific competitions.
