ASU Professors’ Publication Is Acknowledged at Federal Level

Study Guide “Practical Course in Advanced Mathematics: Workbook”, prepared by professors of the Department of Mathematics & Mathematics Teaching Technique of Astrakhan State University, won the annual Competition named after Printing Pioneer Ivan Fedorov in category “Best Research and Methodological Work”.

The study guide is meant for HEI students’ independent preparation and control over knowledge acquisition, for filling the gaps in learning mathematical concepts and methods. The content includes topics on linear algebra, analytical geometry and calculus.

As the authors say, using the advanced mathematics workbook in the educational process helps students cope with possible difficulties successfully and supplements their in-class work with the professor.
