DSTU and ASU Will Develop “Digital Twins” for Agriculture

Don State Technical University and Astrakhan State University are going to unite their efforts in doing joint research. A respective agreement on cooperation has been signed by rectors of the universities Besarion Meskhi and Konstantin Markelov on December, 24.

Scientists of DSTU and ASU will develop “digital twins”, platform and digital solutions and AI technologies of the Russian agro-industrial complex. Scientific teams of the universities are going to create cutting-edge technologies in genetics and selection and to develop aquabiotechnology projects.

The parties agreed to develop joint educational programmes, to organize traineeships, advanced training and professional re-training programmes for professors and employees of Don State Technical University and Astrakhan State University.
