Astrakhan State University Developed a Cybersecurity Simulator
On March 11, the Boiling Point Centre held a presentation of a project on improving financial literacy, organized within the framework of the comprehensive cooperation of the university with Sberbank. ASU representatives spoke about solutions that help not to fall for trick of swindlers.
Head of the Artificial Intelligence Project Office Aleksandr Koshkarov demonstrated a platform consisting of three sections — video materials, a cybersecurity simulator and an educational course — to the audience. The project was developed within the framework of the collaboration between Astrakhan State University and Sberbank.
Having seen the potential of the online platform, the audience moved on to discuss the benefits of the new developments and mass distribution of the program.
Managing Director of the Astrakhan Branch of Sberbank Roman Dubinsky thanked the ASU team for the work done and addressed the rector of the university with a request for assistance in promoting the project on other educational platforms.
There were proposals to include financial cybersecurity in the curriculum or to hold competitions on this topic. Some experts put forward a proposal on mass mailing of video materials in popular messengers, which could be watched by third-age people, among the others.
