Young Philologists of ASU Said a Word about the Word

The all-Russia scientific and practical conference with international participation was organized by the Department of Modern Russian Language of the ASU Faculty of Philology & Journalism. BA, MA and Ph.D. students from different cities and countries joined the event online.

The conference was attended by representatives of Astrakhan State University, Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy, Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Voronezh State University and other HEIs.

Moreover, the conference involved young researchers from Japan, China, Iran and Uzbekistan; students from Turkmenistan also took an active part in the scientific event.

The right to speak first at the plenary session was granted to the foreign young scientists. In particular, their reports dwelled on the morphological and syntactic features of Russian and Karakalpak proverbs and sayings, the structure of a simple sentence with a word order broken from the point of view of anaphoric relations, etc.
