ASU Develops Joint Programmes with “Children of the Whole Russia”

Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov has met with Rasul Dauletov, Head of the Astrakhan regional branch of the Orphanage Leavers’ Community.

At the meeting, the parties discussed areas of cooperation in implementing various projects and programmes. Today, almost all faculties of ASU interact with the Astrakhan branch of the community.

“It is necessary to improve work with social centres of the region so that the children know about the university, which will help them to reveal their potential and find themselves in the profession,” said Konstantin Markelov.

The conversation resulted in an agreement on developing a plan of interaction between the university and the Astrakhan regional branch of the Orphanage Leavers’ Community “Children of the Whole Russia”.

As Rasul Dauletov said, the meeting with the ASU rector was productive: “Now we are starting to jointly implement the Window to the Future programme. Within its framework, graduating college students who are orphans or parentless children will come to ASU to prepare for the admission exams.”
