ASU Sums Up Results of the 15th Caspian Interregional Competition for Schoolchildren
The competition is held annually at Astrakhan State University. Any schoolchild of the 7-11 grades could try their strength in such subjects as Russian, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Geography, Chemistry, History, Social Studies, English and French.
Awardees and winners of the competition — this year, there’ve been 134 of them — were awarded certificates. In addition, letters of gratitude were also awarded to teachers who helped their students in preparing for the competition.
At the beginning of the ceremony, prospective applicants were shown videos about the life of ASU, which humorously told the children about the pastime of a regular student.
Chair of the competition organizing committee Aleksandr Treshchev supported the schoolchildren, wishing them further development.
Schoolchildren have always actively participated in the Caspian Interregional Competition. All of them aim at good results, which is reflected in the results of the competition. As a rule, after leaving their schools, these children choose ASU to get higher education.
